Welcome to Special Olympics Indiana- Pulaski County Web Site!
We held an informational meeting about Special Olympics in October 2006 to discuss the possibility of sending a delegation to represent Pulaski County. A second meeting was held in November 2006, and the final decision was made to form a Special Olympics committee. We became officially recognized as a Special Olympics County on March 1, 2007.
Special Olympics has always been free to the athletes. Each county relies on the generosity of its citizens and businesses to make this program possible. Each donation is tax deductible and will be used to support athletes in our county.
You can visit Special Olympics Indiana web site at:

Pulaski County has many things to offer & if you would like to learn about our wonderful county, click on Pulaski County picture below.
You will also see a picture of Camp-We-Can. This is not a Special Olympic run camp but it is for people with disabilities. If you are interested please click on the link below.
We have also added a link to Peak Community Services. If you haven't ever heard of Peak you should look at their web site to see what they are about.
Thank you!
Special Olympics was created by the Joseph P. Kennedy Jr. Foundation for the benefit of Persons with Intellectual Disabilities.
